The Harvard Business Review’s Article, ‘Why People Thrive in Coworking’ states, “The Coworking Manifesto, an online document signed by members of more than 1,700 working spaces…clearly articulates the values that the coworking movement aspires to, including community, collaboration, learning, and sustainability.” Nowhere is this statement more in action than through the efforts of the Ukrainian Coworking Association, which is standing up in service and keeping their businesses open to provide support for all its members, their families, and their greater Ukrainian communities. Standing tall during this difficult time requires the support of the global coworking community.
We share this information with you because CloudVO, along with its sister company Pacific Workplaces, is grateful for the opportunity to do something for our colleagues in Ukraine and show our support through donation. The Coworking IDEA Project is supporting a fundraising drive through its US affiliate, Open Coworking Corp. They are a US nonprofit which ensures funds get directly into the hands of the Ukraine Coworking Association.
We ask our colleagues, partners, industry leaders and friends to join us and consider this cause as well. We know that many of you have already made personal donations to provide support and relief, but if you are watching the videos and reports coming from the region and still aren’t sure what you can do, we’d like to suggest the following:
