The Federal Bureau of Work Statistics reported today a sudden loss of productivity throughout the Country in the hours preceding the opening of the Patriots-Steelers game that opened the NFL season on Thursday Sep 10, 2015.

To the contrary, we had noticed a surge of professional activity throughout our partners’ break rooms and lounges that very same day, with folks riveted to their computers, working hard at solving problems to make the world a better place, as shown in this picture taken at a CloudVO partner location Thursday afternoon.

We will run our Football Pool at This website allows us to set our own pool options and enter our own weekly picks. Each week, after picks have been entered, MySportWeb generates a spreadsheet with all the picks of our Pool. As the games are played the spreadsheet is automatically updated reflecting points earned for each winning game. Points are totaled each week and tracked for the season for all the players of our pool.

To become a Player in our pool you must first register with MySportWeb, then join our pool. Here’s how…

How to enter the week 1 picks:

  4. You should see the list of games for that week (to view another week, click the week below the table)
  5. Click “Edit” below the table
  6. Read the 2-line instruction at the top, it will tell you the point value range.  In Week 1, for each game you will need to pick a winner and assign a point value of 1 (hardest game winner to guess) to 16 (easiest game winner to guess)
  7. Click “update” and you’re done!

I am in a rush this week, how do I let the system do it for it for me?

  1. Do nothing and the system will randomly assign points with a 2/3 chance that the winner will be the home team
  2. Or, if you want, you can set your team preferences ahead of the season as a guidance for the system to make “intelligent” picks on your behalf.
    1. Go to the “Pool Option” tab on the top
    2. Click on the “Team Ratings” link
    3. Read the 2 line instructions at the top and click on “Edit Order” at the bottom

Pool Prize Distribution:

  • Roughly 50% of the prize money goes to the weekly winners – expect the weekly winner to get anywhere between $25 and $50, depending upon the number of participants.
